Questions.
Is this app cost calculator free?
Yes. You see your result straight away, with no email. You can choose to have the estimate emailed to you.
How accurate is the app cost calculator?
It's a guide, not a quote. The range comes from our cost bands for apps like yours, checked against what founders post for the same work. Your real price depends on your brief, so use it to plan and to sense-check quotes.
Where do the figures come from?
The build range comes from Onekode’s cost bands for each kind of app. The “what founders post” figure comes from 2,779 founder job posts on Upwork in September and October 2026. Those are posted budgets, not amounts paid, from one marketplace where developers from all over the world bid. They reflect that marketplace, not the whole market.
Is the result an Onekode quote?
No. We price every app on its own brief, with one fixed price and a breakdown before you commit.
I started my app with Lovable, Bolt or Replit. Does the calculator help?
Yes. Pick “an AI-built prototype” in the last question and the range takes it into account. For a part-by-part answer, the Free Build Audit tells you what stays, what needs fixing and what blocks launch.
How is the calculator different from the Price and Scope Check?
The calculator is self-serve and instant. The Price and Scope Check is done by a person on our team, on your own brief, and comes back the same working day, subject to availability.
